Now that summer is officially here, I can fully appreciate having cold beer at my finger tips. I don’t usually drink a lot of beer, but since I bought my home brew kit and make my own beer, I like to drink a cold beer every day or so, especially if I have been out in the heat. Sometimes, when I get home from work I like to have a cold beer to relax with, especially if the commute home has been a long one

I bought my Home Brew Kit about six months ago and have become adept at making my own beer, which is not hard at all with the home brew kit. I tried making all three types of beer, the lager, the bitter beer and the stout. I like all three but prefer the lager, probably because that was what I always liked before, when I bought beer at the store. The process of making the beer is not hard, the only hard part is waiting the three weeks for it to brew and age. But once you get a batch do, I have realized that the best thing to do is immediately start the next batch, so that it will be aged, chilled and ready to drink, when the last batch is gone. So I have not been out of beer for a long time. I have a good place to store the beer in my basement in a dark cool corner, and when the supply in refrigerator gets low, I just go down and collect a few bottles to put in the fridge to chill.
I will never be without a home brew kit for making beer. It is something everyone should try. I enjoy the process of making it and I enjoy serving it to my beer drinking buddies, who talk of getting their own home brew kit, but haven’t yet. They just like to come over and drink mine which is ok with me.
